When Grodd showed up in Circe’s vision in Creature Commandos I was excited that Gunn might be positioning him as a major villain in his future plans for the DCU.

Instead he’s the focus of a comedy mockumentary.

Our first foray into the true crime genre.  From the creators of American Vandal, starring Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy Tatro as Gorilla Grodd, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, & Wendell Pierce as Perry White. Additional cast includes Mary Holland, Eduardo Franco, Dan Perrault & Arian Moayed. Along with Lanterns, this was one of the shows Peter & I pitched to WBD before we came on board. With Tony and Dan at the helm, it's something truly special.

@CharlotteR4321 My judgement comes from the tone of Creature Commandos, Peacemaker, and Superman. I doubt a Jimmy Olsen show is going to be overly serious based on his portrayal in Superman.
