Dulu, jenama Dunlop duduk bawah Continental sebab sejarah lama di mana Continental Malaysia beli kilang lama Dunlop di PJ. Disebabkan tu, dia dibenarkan menggunakan jenama Dunlop tapi tayarnya guna teknologi Continental.

Malaysia was the only country with this special relationship.

Tapi awal tahun ni, Continental dah kembalikan hak jenama Dunlop kepada pemilik sebenarnya , Sumitomo Rubber Industries.

Sama macam pasaran lain. Dulu, Dunlop di US, Europe and some Ocenia countries di bawah Good Year Tires.

Pada tahun 2025, Goodyear letgo ke Sumitomo jugak.
