@AW43755181 @PaulEmbery Good question! It depends. They may or may not want to go to the school for coercive reasons (they want to impress their parents/gparents, or something), or the rules/policies/attitudes of the teachers might make it hard to leave once there, etc. Lots of ways to coerce.

@AW43755181 @PaulEmbery I didn’t! Depends slightly on how good you are at evading/managing inspectors. I was never inspected. Had friends who were but blew the socks off the inspectors, who then never came back. But basically no homeschooled kids don’t have to do national curriculum.
