@darren_stallcup This GENERATION is completely LOST. They don’t want to stay in school, they don’t believe in work, comitting deviant act is their top priority and then they gonna turn around and blame the government or society for their failure. Very SAD.
The NYPD will deploy over 10,000 officers to tomorrow's Knicks parade — the largest number assigned to any planned event.
Heavy weapons teams, explosive detection k9s, transportation, transit, highway, aviation, drones, and more will be on hand to keep things secure.
Dear Lord, I have seen what you’ve done for others. I’m patiently and faithfully awaiting my turn in my patrol car at XPD. In the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!
Congrats to everyone that invested early ! Go $SPCX 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
This may be the greatest angel investment in the history.
David Sacks invested in SpaceX when it was valued at just $27 million back in 2002.
Evan $100,000 investment from that round would now be worth over $6 BILLION at today’s IPO valuation.
Many are asking why is SpaceX, $SPCX, NOT trading yet?
Here's exactly how the IPO process works and when the shares will be available to trade (Bookmark this):
The IPO was quoted at 9:50 AM ET and was expected to begin trading at 10:00 AM ET, but that does NOT guarantee shares will trade at that time.
Before trading begins, Nasdaq must complete a price-discovery auction where buy and sell orders are collected and matched.
At around 9:50 AM ET, "first indications" came out which are essentially a "gauge" of where the stock will open.
The first indications on $SPCX came in at $175/share, or a ~30% premium to the $135/share IPO price.
During this process:
1. Orders are entered, but no trades occur yet
2. Nasdaq continuously updates the indicative opening price
3. The opening price is adjusted until supply and demand are balanced
4. Only then does the opening auction occur and the first trade print
For major IPOs, delays are common such as Google in 2004 and Meta in 2012 which saw their first trades over 2 hours after the US market opened.
We expect the SpaceX IPO to open for trading within the next 60 minutes.
Buckle up for a historic day.
ELON MUSK: There are always problems on Earth. There are always things that we wish to be better that we want to solve, and we should solve them. But there also have to be things that get you excited about the future, and that’s the future that SpaceX wants to bring to you.
We see the tower of Jesus Christ illuminated for the first time!
The light show, starting from the base up to the illumination of the cross, culminated with a composition of lights guided by drones that traced the figure of Gaudí and the phrase “first love, then technique”.
The assault on an NYPD officer outside Madison Square Garden last night was unacceptable.
New Yorkers are rightfully excited about the Knicks' historic Finals run, and we want fans to celebrate this moment together. There is, however, no place for violence, and no tolerance for attacks on police officers.
Thank you to the officers who worked to keep fans safe throughout the night, and we wish the injured officer a speedy recovery.
The overwhelming majority of New Yorkers celebrated responsibly, and I urge everyone to continue doing so as the Finals return to New York.
