For the longest time, I doubted my craft and constantly sold myself short. But at some point, I made a decision that changed everything — I would rather lose clients than undervalue myself.
In 2024, I quoted 1.5M to three different clients for the first time. One ghosted me. One replied with a condescending message. And one simply asked, “When can we start?”
That moment taught me something powerful: the right people will never make you feel guilty for knowing your worth. Sometimes growth begins the moment you stop shrinking yourself to fit other people’s budgets and expectations.
@TariusNG@BluMunCreatif You won't go wrong with this. I had to make a choice between this and a Gaomon M1220 ( apparently they're both made by the same company 😅)
The idea is to keep drawing. The one drawing that could change everything is unknown, you’ll only discover it if you keep drawing.
Interestingly, my biggest income so far came from my most basic technique. Just have fun.
The worst kinds of people to work with often have these set of recurring characteristics:
1. Unclear briefs, No Direction.
2. Low Budgets, but high expectations
3. Desire Unrealistic speed
4. Disrespect for process
Am I missing out anything?
Finally out in the wild! 💥
My variant for Battle Beast #11 🦁
Huge thanks to @RobertKirkman & @Ben_Abernathy for having me on board for this.
It was an honor to jam on this iconic character from @InvincibleHQ
Go grab a copy when it hits shelves!

@thekidcentury Honestly, I'm also dealing with this right now. I don't even think my work is good enough. Maybe it's cos I subconsciously equate it to traction. I know within myself I've grown this year but the high didn't last a day. It sucks
@NeoCloudBuster@ooMarkAnthony Thanks! I'll experiment with this. I've been winging it for my personal works. Currently working on a sample cover for my portfolio and I struggled getting it to work portrait and landscape.
