So it’s really difficult. “One of USWNT players gave an interview saying it was a really nice atmosphere. But on the field, she was saying we were trash, that we didn’t know how to play football. “So it’s a huge lack of respect—both from the refereeing and from their players too. “They talk and talk, but when it really matters, when there are no cameras, they start saying a lot of crap on the field as well. “So, I want to thank the fans who supported us the whole time. We’ll always give our best, and unfortunately we were really hindered today in getting the result. But we’ll keep working so this doesn’t happen again. “And truly, I’m very grateful to the fans. I mean it was amazing what they did here. They broke the attendance record, they supported us the entire time. “So, my heartfelt thanks to everyone in Fortaleza.” Over 55,000 fans showed up to support Brazil.
