25 years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken on September 11th, honor the first responders who answered the call, and stand with every family and survivor who continues to carry the pain of that day.

We must recommit ourselves to supporting the families, survivors, and first responders still living with the lasting effects of September 11th, and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

It was a pleasure meeting Tashana, a hardworking mom with a passion for her delicious soul food business. I had the pleasure of trying her famous Mac and cheese with steak & collard greens🔥.

We had a real conversation about the challenges small business owners face, from the affordability crisis to accessing the capital they need to grow.

This weekend, I had the honor of attending the 80th Annual Shinnecock Powwow, celebrating the Shinnecock Nation’s more than 13,000 years of history on Long Island.

From incredible handmade crafts and local businesses to connecting with people from across our community, it was a powerful reminder of the rich history and diversity that make NY-01 so special.

Nick LaLota wants you to believe the SALT fight is over. It isn’t.

Long Islanders deserve more than temporary relief with an expiration date. In 2030, the current SALT increase ends, putting families right back where they started.

Nick Lalota is a career politician hoping voters won’t kick the tires on his lies. Let’s set the table straight on SALT.

The first $10,000 SALT deduction cap was created by Republicans in Congress in 2017, and Long Island felt the squeeze.

That cap was set to completely expire at the end of 2025, but Nick Lalota voted to bring it back at $40,000. If that wasn’t enough, here’s the real catch: the cap collapses back to $10,000 in 2030.

Let’s be clear: the $40,000 cap is a temporary fix with an expiration date.

I’m Chris Gallant. In Congress, I’ll fight for permanent SALT relief, not a countdown clock to hold over voters’ heads.
