Sipher Game Development Update
Hey Siphers, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting things ready for you!
🔴 New Features and Hotpatches
Several bugs were fixed via hotpatch yesterday, especially those affecting the new 7 Day Welcome Missions feature, which is designed to improve player retention in the first week. Another hotpatch is coming this week.
🔴 Bugs and Known Issues
Some issues still need more time. e.g. event missions not tracking properly and cannot be fixed with a hotpatch. These will be included in Fish v2, estd. early next month. We are also investigating the white screen problem on devices with Adreno 740 GPUs only. Device-specific bugs take longer to troubleshoot.
🔴 PvPvE Arena Update
Good news for all competitive players! the Arena Flatten Power feature has passed testing and will go live this week! This makes Arena matches fairer and more skill-based. Power gaps between players will be smaller. Your augment setup, ascension, and weapon selection will matter. so fights will come down to strategy and execution
🔴 Servers and Global Launch
We are still running on a single server located in Singapore, so players outside Asia may continue to see higher ping in Arena and co-op modes. Server capacity and regions will be scaled up as we get closer to global launch.
🔴 UA Campaign and Vietnam App Stores
Sipher is finally back on the Vietnam app stores after a long wait. This was one of our biggest blockers, and now that it’s resolved, we’ll resume user acquisition testing in Asia with a heavy focus on Vietnam this week.

Big Sipher update. long one, but worth the read 👇
Adventure Mode is almost here, and it’s one of the biggest steps we’ve taken toward global launch.
This “Story Mode” brings a whole new layer to World Exploration: map discovery, puzzles, traps, looting, and narrative-driven runs on top of the roguelite combat you already know (watch the video).
We ran a public playtest last week and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. If all goes well, the build will be live within a week. And yes, @AskTinNguyen and the dev team have been grinding even on weekends to make sure we get this as soon as possible.
Some people still think Sipher is just button-mashing melee and shooting. That couldn’t be further from the truth. The game already has:
- World Exploration (PvE, Solo and Co-Op)
- Endless Anarchy (endless survival runs)
- Arena (PvP: 1v1v1, 2v2, 3v3)
- AI Hunt (boss fights)
- Colosseum (strategic 1v1, like Tokyo Beast)
...plus a deep item economy, trading marketplace, and 13+ playable characters with unique skills.
Adventure Mode is more than a new feature. It’s a replayability engine, and that’s critical for both gameplay longevity and the item economy.
So where does this take us? Global launch. Retention is everything. If new players drop after Day 1, we fail. With this update, I’m confident retention will rise. Each build takes us one step closer to scaling worldwide on iOS and Android.
Our two key initiatives to grow the community are doing great:
Community Content: More creators are sharing Sipher gameplay, and it’s making an impact. I’d love to see more of our community step up, not just holding $SIPHER as investors, but repping the game as ambassadors.
Guild Game Nights: Guild collabs are growing, bringing Sipher to players who haven’t tried it yet. These events work, and we’ll keep doubling down.

Sipher Odyssey and SipherAGI Update
Dear Sipher community,
🔴 Sipher Odyssey is in its final stretch before Global Launch.
• We’ve built over a year of live content, ensuring players will always have fresh challenges and events to return to.
• Based on community feedback and play data, we’re refining FTUE and monetization systems so the game launches stronger, with better retention and long-term growth.
• Sipher Adventure (World Exploration / Story Mode) is coming very soon to make onboarding easier for new players. The core roguelite ARPG depth remains intact for our midcore to hardcore community.
While we won’t rush at the expense of quality, the launch timeline remains in our control. We’re focused on getting it right. We will deliver a launch that’s impactful from day one and sustainable over the long term.
🔴 Beyond Sipher Odyssey: The SipherAGI Vision
While Sipher Odyssey is our flagship, it’s only the first chapter. Our roadmap has always been about @SipherAGI, building not just one game, but an ecosystem of impactful and lasting products across three pillars:
• AI ( @beginGAIA, KAIO) → AI and tools that enhance gameplay today, while also evolving into a platform that empowers creators and game developers in the future.
• Gaming (multiple titles) → Sipher Odyssey, Sipher Strife, and a new soulslike is in development, with more ambitious titles planned to follow.
• Infrastructure ( @funkichain ) → Our own Ethereum Layer-2 built on the @Optimism Stack. Running our own chain gives us control over fees and incentives, cycling value back into the ecosystem. Superchain connectivity ensures a seamless experience for players.
Each of these pillars connects through $SIPHER, our ecosystem token. Value accrues back to token holders across all our products and future titles.

My @sipherfan estimate is end of year. I wished it was simpler, but it's not.
We just wrapped user acquisition testing in Asia. retention metrics looked great. this means players are no longer dropping off the game in day 1. Now testing in US & EU.
It’s not just retention. ROAS needs to check out too. this is obvious, because we can’t scale at a loss.
If those results hold up, global launch should happen this year.

Marketing team ran a small UA campaign for @playsipher in Thailand.
600+ users joined. no ads, the players were brought in by 10 Web2 KOLs. it's a good traction. these players joined because the game is fun. not because of airdrop farming
day 1 retention (R1) on Mango v3 is much better
some days hitting 29–32%, which is at industry standard (vs ~20% on older builds)
R1 tracks users who downloaded and played through Dopamis 2. a lot can break the flow. lag, weak onboarding, tutorial fatigue
so this is a good sign that we're fixing the early funnel
Thailand might just be a better market fit than our earlier test in PH
next step is to scale UA to 2,000 users in TH through ads, and see if R1 holds
that’ll give us a clearer signal
long-term retention may not be there yet
only 67 players showed up in Endless Rookie leaderboard last week
So R7 likely weak, but not so critical at this stage.
Game devs are testing new modes to widen appeal and introducing adventure elements. think lego-style fun + collecting coins
