Our Theater of the Oppressed event exploring solutions to community gun violence was so fun and powerful!

The beautiful thing about this artful event is that it was led by youth impacted by gun violence and highly participatory for the audience.

Interventions the audience decided we needed? Mentoring, conflict resolution programs. Restorative Justice, Violence Interruption, more resources in schools, a shift of policies & school culture away from punitive responses like suspensions and expulsions, better opportunities..
