Kwale County! Udzalamkadze?
We were warmly welcomed at Mavivirini Primary School in Kwale County, an institution that has nurtured remarkable leaders, including Hon. Salim Mvurya, Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Youth, and Culture, and our very own game changer Saumu Bakari President of the Kwale County Colleges and Universities Students Association.
Under the theme “Kicking Out Drugs, Rooting in Change,” and in line with our ongoing commitment to intergenerational dialogue, we engaged in a powerful mentorship session with the vibrant young minds of Kwale.
We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support from all our stakeholders, including the Deputy Governor of Kwale County H.E. Josphat Chimera Kombo, Deputy Government Spokesperson Chidzuga, Area MP Hon. Samuel Gonzi Rai, and many others who showed up to inspire and mentor the next generation.
The turnout was phenomenal—parents, teachers, and the wider community came out in large numbers, showcasing the unity and commitment to shaping a better future for our youth.
Thank you for having us!

INTERGENERATIONAL SOLUTIONS
Today, the young people and I had a Heart to Heart with The Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports in Kenya Hon. Salim Mvurya and PS for Sports Elijah Mwangi to discuss how to engage youth more effectively and expose objective guided platforms, programs and representation.
Unfortunately these gaps and vacuums have given predatory actors room and space to auction the Lives, Passion and Energy of our young people towards selfish and vile interests, keeping us in a constant state of fear, hurt and rage. Everyone seems to be gaining something from the youth but what are youth gaining from them?
We shared the ingenious idea curated by @ACSAP_K national youth dialogue. We are converting Passion to Policy, replacing Protests with Platforms, moving from violence to reform based actions.
And we are doing it with all generations!
Following recent protests that have highlighted the urgent demands of Gen Z’s, we call for agenerational ceasefire to end unrest and channel the passion of young Kenyans into constructive dialogue.

On June 25, 2025, we unite to honor the courageous heroes who lost their lives in the 2024 protests, their sacrifices a poignant reminder of the price paid for a better future. Their vision for change lives on in us, and we must channel it wisely. I call on the government to engage young people with sincerity—create actionable policies on education, jobs, and governance, with transparent follow-through. Empty promises will no longer suffice; the youth deserve a seat at the table and measurable outcomes that reflect their aspirations. Let this day be a turning point for meaningful dialogue and trust-building.
To the youth, our passion is the heartbeat of our nation, but I urge us to choose dialogue over destruction. Protests, while powerful, can lead to loss of lives and property, as we’ve painfully witnessed. Let us honor the fallen by seeking solutions through open, constructive engagement that bridges divides and fosters progress. As we gather, let us stand united in purpose, building a legacy of hope and unity. As the wise say, a child who burns his father’s house must be ready to inherit ashes. Let us build, not burn, for the future we all share.

We had the pleasure of hosting PS Fikirini Jacobs, Principal Secretary for Youth Affairs and the Creative Economy, during our Leadership Conversation.
He reminded us of the power of unity: “If nothing else, embrace the spirit of comradery beyond tribes and beyond borders — only then shall we build the society we need.”
We’re thankful for his continued support to the Kenyan young people. Let’s keep conversing. #Tubonge
Imagine a vibrant movement uniting the youth of our nation—a party created by young people, for young people, and driven by their vision. A collective where our identity is youth, our leaders are young, and we rally resources to fuel our own dreams and ambitions.
Just give it a thought.
