Back in 2017, I went to see a psychic in Saratoga Springs to get her approval to drop out of grad school. Instead, she told me to stay in school and get a dog. She said with him I’d meet the love of my life while walking him in Philadelphia. I went to a greyhound “meet and greet” at a pet store happening near my house, saw these weird lanky dogs napping on the floor, and I knew.
When I got Noodle, he was fresh off the racetrack and never lived in a house before and I’d never had a dog. It was a rough adjustment for us both, but I remembered the promise I made to Bobbi at the adoption center that I’d take care of him until the end of his life or mine, and, slowly, we became inseparable and I began to realize he was the love she was talking about.
I feel so lucky to have had him in my life and I’m so glad I got to share some snapshots of our life with you all.

Sir, I'm here to buy 8 pounds of chicken wings, 600 paper plates, and a years supply of oil for my truck, not be harassed about changing my phone plan.
I’m constantly astonished that billionaires would rather ignore the climate crisis and prepare to live in a bunker with dvds and baked beans than devote a modicum of their bottomless wealth to saving the planet where we have fresh fruit and soft grass and blue skies.
