I count myself lucky.
Somehow on a random day in 2021, I joined a free class that told me writing could be more than a passion.
Somehow I went through losing 13k LinkedIn followers without losing my mind and now have ~64k.
Somehow I worked with clients in places I'd only dreamed of stepping into (dreams do become reality sha).
Somehow I climbed my way up to no 1 content marketer on LinkedIn Nigeria (Favikon).
Somehow I founded a whole initiative that has empowered at least 100 young people.
Somehow I got surrounded by people that genuinely love and support me.
Somehow Christ decided I'm His daughter and He would always be with me.
I don't know if I should call these luck but sometimes, that's just what it feels like.
Alas, all good things are from God :)
Set the atmosphere right. I do this a lot.
Listening to sad songs when you're sad only adds fuel to the fire and it'll never make you feel any better.
If you can't listen to gospel music atm, it's better you don't listen to music at all and sit with your thoughts.
My friend told me that whenever she's feeling down or depressed, she listens to sad songs, and I asked her if it made her felt any better and she replied "no"
I learnt this a long time ago, whenever you feel sad or down, just listen to gospel music. It uplifts your spirit and
Can’t explain it.
But if you’re trying to get into being more grateful and less stressed about life, listen to more gospel music.
You might be under water, but you’ll feel at peace.
My current life hack.

Ask a 22 year old guy why he isn't married yet, he'll tell you he hasn't figured out his life yet and hasn't gotten to a point in life where he can raise a family of his own.
It's never about marrying early and having kids on time. As a woman you ask yourself, "am I ready?"...
This is the difference between a son and daughter. A daughter will hear her mum had a daughter at 19(meaning she was pregnant at 18) and cry for the person she'd have become. A son will hear of it and use it as a blueprint for what should be.
I wish our mothers shared their experiences and thoughts with their sons as much as they shared them with us. The disconnect is ridiculous at this point because it’s almost like they shielded their sons from these things and downloaded everything for their daughters.
There are lots of tweets you see on X that sounds so soothing and spot on and you begin to relate with it.
Until you scroll and all of a sudden your perspective have shifted from the original post and then to another and so on.
Omo! I recommend thinking for yourself.

Thank God my mum didn’t listen to social media. She had her first daughter at 19, me at 21, lost the next pregnancy, had the next daughter at 25, and the last born at 27. She went on to have a stillbirth at 29. That makes a total of six pregnancies and four children. She intended to have seven children, but as destiny would have it, she couldn’t conceive any longer. She went into menopause at age 39. She now has eight grandchildren. She always told us how lucky she considered herself to have married at that early age. My mother was ready.
@_Herworld__ That seems like an individual problem atp. People need to be very intentional with decisions they make in their life and they need good mentors and advisors. Also need to learn to filter certain information and decide what they want for themselves instead of listening to others
@realbig_shak The whole situation was about women. Who do you expect to retaliate in the whole situation? Men? Ofc not!
Both feminist and non feminist are in the quotes cause they're all women.
And also respect the fact that this situation is about women not feminism as a whole.
I want to ask a question tho;
How does chasing your dreams and finding purpose before marriage have anything to do with feminism?
Question 2; in your own context, what do think feminism is all about?
What you people do in the name of feminism on this app is not what true feminism entails. Insulting me over this post is a classical example. I am more feminist than a lot of you.
“Debs why are you single?”
-I’m not soft spoken
-I call men out on their bs
-I don’t know how to hide my irritation
-massaging men’s ego is a humiliation ritual for me and I will never partake in that
-I don’t know how to sugar coat my opinions
-I’m a leaver, I will block you.
Nobody should ask me again👍🏽
-Too defensive and less accountable? I ghost your bloody ass.
-Too verbally abusive and less complimenting? I call out your ass quickly.
-Too disrespectful and authoritative? I'll quietly ghost you
I no get patience na why😂
Nobody should ask me again biko
