HOT TAKE: but Minecraft Roleplay creators need to stop treating every new series as a competition or a threat to your channel.
MCRP/MCTV is already a much small and divided community than it was in 2016. Just because someone’s series is doing well doesn’t excuse you to be jealous and bring them down. We should celebrate as it brings new or returning eyes to the community.
Viewers can enjoy multiple Roleplays from different creators and honestly I think some people need to realize that. This also goes for Voice Actors, Builders, Script Writers, etc they are free to offer their support to other creators not just one! We’re stronger together as a community not Outcasts but really Community will make us stronger.
Instead of trying to point fingers on “who copied who” and comparing videos. Why don’t we just be happy someone’s series does well? It’s not that hard.
Even after reading all of this and you still think it’s okay to be so negative, and hateful to other creators then you shouldn’t have a platform. That’s it.
This next part is gonna be a hard pill to swallow. Nobody is going to be the next Aphmau and that’s okay! We need to stop chasing that dream as a community and focus on telling fun, compelling, and amazing stories in a way we are most comfortable.
I’ve been in this community for YEARS and I’ve seen, heard, and experienced so much. I am grateful for this path Gemini and Myself have made for ourselves and found a place to tell our stories. Thank you for reading my longgggg rant but I needed to get that off my chest.
Much Love, Scorpio 💙
Honestly I'm not surprised that straight creators are saying nothing for pride month, not even a "happy pride".
It just proves that they will use the LGBTQ community to get views on their videos but not support us.
Our sexualities are not "props" for you to use for views.
