#Islamophobia_In_India
I was at Mumbai Fort Area yesterday to buy some Media Equipments
Payment was done via Organization's Bank Account. Seeing the Word 'Islamic' in Bank Details the phobia of Shop Owner was out in open. He started demanding various documents
#Islamophobia
We live in a SECULAR country where every person has the right to practice the religion of their choice. Restricting girls from education because of their faith is sheer injustice.
#HijabIsFundamentalRight#EducationMyRight irrespective of race or religion, sex or colour.
Freedom to Dress has been the strength of India. If the hijab is disallowed, what about the Sikh turban? The Hindu's forehead mark? The Christian's crucifix?
STOP DISCRIMINATING.
Let them study. Let THEM decide.

"We love our Hijab, it has never been an obstacle in our life but, the mentality of people about it, their narrow mindedness about freedom and liberty has always been"

We expect from the Government of Karnataka and peace loving masses that they will uphold the dignity, modesty and value of womanhood.
#EducationMyRight#Hijab
Hijab is an obligatory practise of Islam, and the constitution guarantees freedom of religion to every person in India.

Today's @htTweets page 5.
Muskan had told Vishnu Som that most students heckling her for wearing the #Hijab were from outside. Now we know who is supporting them, if we didn't already know this!

Justice Dixit notes the first point of law : The wearing of Headscarf (hijab) is part of essential religious practise, as prescribed by the Holy Quran and therefore the State cannot direct against Quranic injunctions.

The act of closing gates for girls with #hijab to prevent them from entering college by college principal in Kundapur, Karnataka is highly deplorable. Abrupt and arbitrary steps like these, from concerned authorities, cannot be justified under any pretext. (1/8)
#HijabisOurRight
Brahmin students have all the right to wear their janeu and tilak to school.
Sikh students have all the right to wear their turbans to school.
Right?
So also, Muslim girls have all the right to wear their hijab to school.
Understand Indian secularism!

Apartheid!
I wonder how they would accept and be accepted henceforth. This Islamophobia would not end by allowing them into the campus. The entire social fabric has deteriorated. Sigh!
