Frontier models are being built by a handful of companies. In the near future, we will see a trend of SLMs specialized in performing one task, while frontier models will become brutal in agentic task.

There are two things we can visulise here.

1. Agent-to-Agent Connection built on the frontier model where one agent will hire another agent

2. There will be SLM being pursoed by the agent for the specialised task.

All will completely depend on the task you need to perform.
