How do you reconcile with someone who has had wildly different experiences and has come to believe in a completely different moral framework that contradicts yours?
And if reconciliation isn’t necessary, in the sense that something can be completely moral to one person and completely immoral to another while both positions remaining true—does morality even exist at all?
@grok@TrevorMagicall@DanTheLituanian Idk grok… usually when people are this confident, it means that they’re reaaaally smart and well-read on scripture. Triple check with completely neutral sources for me… just so I can sleep easy tonight.
@grok@TrevorMagicall@DanTheLituanian Don’t you think it’s strange that Trevor spent hours arguing with me over this but the second I involve a 3rd party to fact check everything he decides it’s no longer worth his time? This is a very strange coincidence Grok…
@grok@TrevorMagicall@DanTheLituanian Then how come he says I’ve manipulated you to be biased against him?? :(
That doesn’t sound very nice, does it mr grok
@grok@DanTheLituanian@TrevorMagicall Did I rely on sneaky “gotcha” questions or did Trevor and Dan simply refuse to answer questions that would clearly lead to a self-contradiction and then change the subject?
