I completely disagree with the negative discourse around Jason right now. This is exactly what people said about Arthur Morgan before RDR2 came out.
Jason is ex-military, who clearly does not like to talk much. He is awkward. He is closed off. He is quiet. There is probably a reason that he acts like that. Hopefully that will get explored.
As Lucia says in the trailer, she wants Jason to talk and communicate more. I think seeing him open up and evolve over the course of GTA 6 is going to be fascinating to see. If RDR2 is any indicator, I'd imagine Rockstar has quite the character arc in store.
@zacncomics One thing I love about Batman and Hal is that despite them bumping heads a lot, they still always care and respect the other deep down almost like brothers. Batman forgiving him after his time as Paralax is one of my favorite panels of all time.
@Samthrilzz From my knowledge of the comics, Batman has been chosen by many rings (primarily green and yellow) bc of his very conflicting emotions. He is so willful and strong minded, but also not only a practioner of fear, but also one scarred by it. He can use both rings, but not fully.
@DarkTylenol People also acting like she’s collaring him like a dog when they are just being… a normal couple here? They are going to an event, they are getting ready, Lucia asks for his opinion on a dress, Jason rly jus says he’s fine with anything, she picks an outfit, they leave. Thats it
@Gazz_54 No shit she killed them with one hand, SHE HAS A SHOTGUN LMAO. What is this supposed to mean? This is GTA, gunning people down in crazy highstake fashion is half the game. Jason is also shown to be deadly and accurate, it isn’t just Lucia. Leaks also saying Jason is ex-military.
@criticalhitsTV@HeroHunterSS You clearly didn’t finish FMAB if you think that. In the final moments of the show, Edward gives up his power for all those he loves. Not just women. Not just Winry, and she’s not the only one motivating him. Alphonse, Mustang, Armstrong, Winry, Hawkeye, Hohenheim, etc. all did.
@xanadusoul@ThunderND Play RDR2 and you’ll see it works. RDR2 is basically just as long and people (including me lol) just wanted more when it ended. I enjoyed every second of RDR2 and did multiple playthroughs. Rockstar knows how to make a game.
@Calibism1234@YtSmaxy This is AI. GT6 reveal shows RDR2 styled realism rather than what you’re saying. RDR2 had so much stuff you could do and play around with, but 99% wasn’t necessity or anything unless it was a fun gimmick mission. Which makes sense as even the GTA6 UI now resembles Rockstar’s RDR2
@MeltonMallow I feel Maki hesitated here because she wanted to hear her mom out, hear if she had any remorse or justification after they last spoke. Maki was likely going to kill her anyway, but Maki’s mom basically doubling down on all the horrific and discriminatory beliefs sealed her fate.
@maligmagno@iiiiwanttolive Basically. Due to the risk of the body switch, Maki disapproved of the swap plan from second 1, but the group had no other option so Yuta went through with it anyway and fought Sukuna. This is after the final fight, where Maki is pissed Yuta almost got himself killed lmao
@dbs_10_10 Vegeta I feel knows exactly how strong an opponents is and he’s consistently one of the more analytical of the Z-Fighters, he just misjudged his own strength in comparison to others lmao
@theeshyguy2000@JordanLDurham I feel Z Bardock was obv a sayian raised on cruel and violent practices, but he was a bit different and was an independent thinker who was struggling to make sense of their position in life. Love and compassion were things he felt in Z, but struggled to embrace them until the end
@JayJohn65482569@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon My two guesses are either she was very strong and King Vegeta killed her in his envy, or she died early and King Vegeta partly became such an envious and cold person bc of it. Maybe Vegeta’s mom was assassinated in some way by Freiza, Tuffles, or even by sayians after the throne.
@2girls1groyp@britneyspheres Rly? I feel if you are on the outside it kinda signals you aint tryna kick and punch, you’re not in the pit for a reason. At non-hardcore-only events i’d think if ur outside ur good. Now if you’re expecting not to get roughed up when you’re in the pit, then yeah that’s on you😂
@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon I also feel having Paragus related to Vegeta’s mom can introduce some cool lore that relates to Vegeta, the sayian socieity, and the nature of their overwhelming potential. Queen Vegeta was likely quite powerful since she gave birth to Prince Vegeta and has the royal crest
@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon Since we don’t know too much about the sayians before King Vegeta’s reign, I assume Paragus was an elite sayian who got promoted to colonel during King Vegeta’s reign due to a friendship or simple mutual respect between the two.
@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon True, tbh I can see it work either way. You do have a point that it could sour variability amongst the sayians narratively, but I like that it can explain Broly as, similar to Vegeta who was bred to be strongest, Broly is a genetic mutant amongst the sayians to the endth degree.
@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon Aside from Paragus having the highest military position other than the royals, I think it would be pretty interesting to have him be related to Vegeta’s mom. Allows more character depth, potential story arcs with characters we know, and can explain some of Broly’s innate ability.
@ValidVibes6@JoyfulTalmon In DBS he is officially marked as the sayian military colonel. He may not have been the right hand, but he is the highest ranking sayian we have seen aside from the royals themselves so likely he was. Paragus also seemed close to King Vegeta as he was shocked by his betrayal.
@yessir167 I feel Goku is a sort of neutral hero. Goku is canonically pure of heart and innocent. He cares for people, nature, and other things, but he isn’t like Superman patrolling the city to save others. He’s just living his life and likes to fight, and when shit hits the fan he’s ready
