ECU Adapted PE class made it out to volunteer at the Bocce Ball Tournament hosted by Special Olympics. It was a chilly start that turned into a beautiful sun shining day. Thank you to all Kinesiology students who made it out! Always looking to connect students with the community.
The Adapted PE class had fun playing modified games. Learning how to adjust activities to include all is important & teaches the idea of making accommodations for individuals in other professional areas such as PT, OT, & personal training. @ECUKines Let's get everyone moving!
@Coach_Joe22@ECUKines This is for the Psychology of Sport class. We talk about various aspects that impact the mental processes related to sport performance and injury.
Asked students to think of a good leader they know and to write two characteristics of that leader. Here are the results. Encouraging and understanding were the top 2. Zoom in for more. @ECUKines
Back on the field where the AT world all began for me. This time for a HS scrimmage. Got to share the sideline with my nephew who is shadowing, considering a career in AT or PT.
I’ve always been obsessed with adaptability.... everyone ..if shown the right combination of exercise, music , humour and expertise ..anyone can fall in love with exercsie ..despite age or ability. @CVLTURETV@HaylesThomas@PUMA
