Because poor people spend their money on nonsense, with many not possessing bare minimum understanding of how to save money.
I don't believe we should be telling millionaires and billionaires how to use their money, because they very clearly understand how to use it, which is why they're wealthy.
Any demand or desire to police or control the spending of wealthy people comes from a place of jealousy, which perpetuates a cycle of laziness and stupidity.
People who claim that the rich "don't deserve" their wealth are just jealous that they aren't in the the same position. They say that they would give their riches to the "needy", but this is all empty word, because they would, in fact, do the exact opposite.

Jewish merchants only owned 17% of the Dutch trade, and only four slave owners in the US were Jews.
In truth the slave trade was started by Arabs, and this was and has been well documented.
