Deante’ Hitchcock speaks on J. Cole:
“I just want to do a song w/ Jermaine… IB/Cole or wherever is listening to this that can press that button—press it. I got the song already, let’s do it.”
He adds, “Cole has been one of my north stars… Hearing Friday Night Lights for the first time was an experience.”

The Fall-Off is a timeless album, whether the world sees it yet or not. How do I know? Every time a new album comes out, I enjoy it and have it in rotation for a bit, some of them stick for longer
But every time I come back to The Fall-Off, it’s like a soul cleanse. It’s healing music that shows aging and maturing in such a beautiful way. This is an album that is going to age with Cole’s fans so powerfully. If you didn’t like Cole to begin with, you won’t like this album - it doesn’t try to change the haters. It just strikes straight into the people it’s made for. And I GUARANTEE, with every year that passes, this will age just better and better.
Most albums are made for a moment in time. This is an album that is made for the listener’s LIFETIME. Masterclass from Cole. Timeless
i hate how physical touch as a love language gets reduced to sex and kissing when it's more like... handholding, laying your head on their shoulder, putting your legs over their lap, tracing their palm, tucking your feet under their thighs. just touching for touching's sake.
I think J. Cole is the perfect artist to do a Tiny Desk concert. Just imagine Love Yourz, Change, Too Deep For the Intro, SAFETY and The Villest. Would be legendary
As an AD, I remind our coaches that no one person is bigger than the program. The most talented player on the team can sometimes cause more harm than good if standards are compromised for them. Culture must always come before talent. When athletes believe different rules apply to certain people, trust in the program disappears. Everyone has value, but everyone is also replaceable. Strong programs are built on accountability, discipline, and team-first mentality, not on one individual.
A lot of y'all are blind to the fact that YOU are the catch.
Your loyalty, your heart, your beauty, your love.
None of it is regular.
Once you realize how rare you are, you'll stop entertaining people who treat you like you're average.
On one end, he's suffocating the League's best. On the other, he's driving one of the most powerful offensive engines in the game. Witness the rise of a two-way force as Stephon Castle covers SLAM 261.

This is a person who would be successful in whatever he decided to do
God made him 9 foot tall so Basketball made a lot of sense, but he is obviously so bright and thoughtful in everything he does
Such a great ambassador for the NBA
