Social media & the press are currently incentivized to drastically exaggerate narratives of division. This in turn creates more division & the downward spiral continues. I hope to build tech that changes these incentives. I believe there is much more love than hate in the world.

You know how it’s WAY easier to misread/misinterpret/not understand someone over text? It’s the same with the entire world on social media. We are communicating in the most shallow way as a society, and yet it’s our primary mode of discourse. Scary.

From personal experience.. as you see yourself in a different light, you see others in a different light. It’s an amazing thing though.. so much of what we think is reality isn’t. You gotta love yourself to love others.
