Anthony Davis dominated in his Wizards debut, leading Washington to a 128-116 win over the Bucks. Could this be a preview of things to come?

“We needed that steady presence,” Brian Keefe said.

“With some guys on our team who's been here for a little bit, it was like we haven't had this in a little bit. So it was good.”

Trae Young on Anthony Davis: “I want to help him get the MVP … I’m not surprised by the way he played.”

Spoke with @NolanRogalski and @JudeWilkenfeld about going to Maryland’s football facility for player reaction to Michael Locksley’s departure and instead being met by law enforcement.

They got no player quotes, but they did get ID’d by police.

The #Commanders have hired Steve Wilks to work with the defensive coaches under Dan Quinn and Daronte Jones, per me and @RapSheet. The decision to hire Wilks was made last month. He started last week.

Wilks will help with game planning. He won't be with the team on game days.

[Nolan Rogalski @NolanRogalski]

For @testudotimes, @JudeWilkenfeld and I were outside Jones-Hill House trying to get players to comment. An athletics staffer took pictures of us, and a police dispatch was called for suspicious activity; a cop and 2 cop cars pulled up, and officers ID’d us and asked us to leave.
