@UseTechForGood @s_debruyn @MKBHD Transactions and mining go hand in hand as miners are verifying the transactions, and getting bitcoin as a reward. I agree though, the environmental impact has been blown out of proportion. The biggest farms are in Iceland using renewable power anyway.

@pa3weg @MattGrayYES That's not totally unreasonable, if highstreet shops and restaurants don't have something even close to a normal Christmas they will all close, Christmas is far too commercialised, for better or for worse, if they don't get trade in December we won't have a highstreet for decades
