#VPDNews: VPD have arrested three teenagers in relation to an alleged violent high-valued Pokémon card robbery.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Vancouver Police responded to a robbery in progress in the area of East King Edward Avenue and Ontario Street. A man was bear-sprayed after attempting to sell two Pokémon cards on Facebook Marketplace valued at $7,000 each.

The suspects fled in a vehicle with the Pokémon cards and were intercepted by VPD officers in Burnaby, near Macpherson Avenue and Beresford Street. The suspects were arrested at the scene and released from jail with conditions.

One Pokémon card was recovered and returned to the victim.

Police are recommending criminal charges against two 15-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy.

“It’s a reminder that if you are planning on buying, selling, or trading items with someone you don’t know, use our Safe Exchange location,” said Constable Darren Wong. “It’s right outside the front door of our headquarters at 2120 Cambie Street, and can help ensure your safety during these transactions.”

Today marks 4 months since my car got dropped off for warranty repairs. It is still at the service center.

I try to be patient and understanding but I’m going to be honest this has probably been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

The time isn’t what bothers me, it’s the absolutely horrible communication the dealer has given me, or the lack thereof.

They have called me one time. One single time, in 4 months, with an update. Every other piece of information I’ve gotten I’ve gotten by calling them or going there in person. Sometimes I won’t be able to get through to the only person I can speak to there for over a week.

I have been told “your car should be ready this week” for 4 weeks in a row. I was assured I would get pictures of my car, I haven’t. I was assured I would get call backs on 5 different occasions, I haven’t.

At what point is my frustration actually justified enough to reach out to their corporate. I feel like I’m being strung along at this point and I just want my car back.

There was a school shooting in my province yesterday, 10 people are dead and 27 are injured.

This is one of the worst mass shootings in 🇨🇦 history, the news is genuinely shocking, and my condolences lie with the families.
