You should have people in your life that participate in your sanctification. We were made for real fellowship.
It sounds good, until fellowship means speaking hard truths out of love. Sometimes, you need to fight in order to get there. - Pastor Neil McClendon
Reminders keep us safe. Sometimes pastors want to preach something new and fresh that no one else has heard. But, when you are in a war, when the fog has settled in, reminders keep us safe. @_JasonCraft
Theology starts in your mind. Revelation starts in our heart. The main difference is experience. It’s one thing to know God loves you. It’s another thing to experience it. Paul said the love of Christ surpasses knowledge. Paul knew we needed to be “whacked” by the love of God.
You can have good Theology and not even hear God’s voice. Jesus said we are sheep and we hear the Shepherd’s voice. That’s why revelation and theology should be running mates in our life. Oh, that we would be a people of fresh revelation! - @_JasonCraft
Character will always trump gifting in the Kingdom of God. Just because you can write a song and sing doesn’t mean you are a good worship leader. Just because you can preach doesn’t mean you are anointed by God. I am so sick of hirelings in the Church.
