Had the opportunity to wear this Clone armor at last weekend's @CarrierConBA onboard the USS Hornet (Alameda, CA) .. Suit was built from a kit by DW Design Studios (Darren Wright) and fabricated by the talented @thorssoli .. I contributed to the clone's design back in 1999!
September 23, 1999: Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: @_Jay_Shuster_ successfully merged the eyes of the bounty hunter helmets with the mouth of the stormtrooper helmet, which would eventually lead to the clone trooper helmet. #StarWarsArchives19992005: https://t.co/M907YGZsjm
@BoziTatarevic (Zil was ejected from the story due to pleas by Disney Russia: if the character remained, The russian market wouldn’t go to the theaters)
@BoziTatarevic Nice! I was the art director for characters on 2.. Had tons of fun designing Francesco (fitting a mouth on the end of that snout) .. Finn (all his gadgets) .. Holley (all her gadgets)- yeah, not as good as 1 or 3 but one of the funnest productions to work on!
@BoziTatarevic little known fact: A character named Zil was meant to be the baddy. Inspired by an actual Russian marque, The Zis 112, after the car they built for an international race back in the 60’s. The car was a badly copied version of the ‘51 Buick LeSabre concept.
I have a question for my Republican friends. Explain to me why, in his 32 posts today attacking fellow Repubs and praising himself, did your fake patriot, draft-dodging, makeup wearing, lumpy, pasty, soft, cult hero not say or post one fucking word about Veterans Day?
