Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has been selected as the 2026 Paul “Dr. Z” Zimmerman Award recipient by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA).

The Dr. Z Award is given for lifetime achievement as an assistant coach in the NFL.

The top-heavy build doesn’t seem modern when we see these 8+ deep teams come in waves.
