Today, our cry goes out to Oyo state gov't & @seyimakinde to pls make Residency palatable in Oyo & make LTH the enviable centre it once was in Nigeria. From being the highest paying centre few years ago to becoming the worst paying today. We're grossly understaffed & underpaid

Today we draw attention to the paucity of Resident Doctors in LTH. From some departments having just 1 resident, to a single resident covering multiple units. We're burnt out. The hosp. mgt and Oyo state gov't should Incentivize recruitment by implementing the minimum wage & MRTF

Call rooms are prerequisite for taking calls. Call rooms should afford comfort and succor. To think that some Residents and House officers have been taking calls in a Teaching Hospital without proper call rooms is a grand woe. We can't continue to inhabit dungeons as call rooms.

@lth_ard It's a pity that residency training in Nigeria has been reduced to a plight. It's more pitiable that LTH resident doctors who have decided to serve the populace are treated with less than deserving wages. Oyo state can do better @Nigerian_Doctor @seyimakinde @aproko_doctor

The abysmal working environment endured by Resident Doctors in LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso is unimaginable. It's almost unthinkable that there are "more" consultants than junior residents in a supposed teaching hospital...an inverted pyramid indeed. Our Demands are simple.

These are endangered set of professionals that the country barely has enough to survive on. It's just crazy!

The Association of Resident Doctors LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso has commenced on a total and indefinite strike. The industrial strike action took effect at 12:00AM on the 7th of March 2025 following a unanimous congress decision. The premises for the strike action are thus

LTH is currently an eyesore, in a state of mess, Hundreds of Doctors are being owed salaries and arrears.

The Health of Doctors is on an all time low.
