A Thread on Diabetes in America 🧵
Recent estimates suggest that by 2050, more than 1.31 billion people across the globe will have diabetes. Just imagine how many more people will be walking around with Prediabetes unknowingly, slowly progressing into full blown diabetes status.
The downfall of modern healthcare is that’s pretty much a dystopian novel where humans are being treated as herd animals to feed the machines of Big Pharma, Big Medical, and Big Insurance.
Modern Healthcare is NOT invested in keeping people well.
No one is coming to save you.
Your health, your life, your opportunity.
You will find many health professionals along your way that can help guide you along your journey, but ultimately you will still need to take each step forward.
💯 Chronic disease isn’t necessarily complicated, but it certainly requires us to live a life different than societal norm - where most people are sick, sad, and sedentary.
Let’s make this REAL simple:
Lower your stress ⬇️
Prioritize consistent quality sleep 😴
Move your body everyday 🤸♂️
Train for strength & flexibility 🏋️♀️🧘♀️
Eat Real Food 🍒

Some of us are just wired differently and do NOT follow structured instructions of others.
The central KPI of American healthcare policy should to reverse chronic disease rates among kids.
Everything else is noise.
This is all we should be talking about.
grounding our hearts in truth to stand distinct from the next cultural ‘trend’ that will be here and gone before we had a chance to learn anything or grow ourselves.
Each day we bombarded with endless information and the next great ‘trend’ to chase and follow and transfigure ourselves towards… at least that’s what we’ve been told we need to do.
