❤️Even Fleetwood Mac called this their best performance ever. The band said they've never played better than this. Not a single note was wrong. Fleetwood Mac is at the peak of their form.

“Lucky Man” was written by Richard Ashcroft for The Verve’s 1997 album Urban Hymns. Released on 24 November 1997 as the album’s third single, it reached No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 16 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart.

The UK video, directed by Andy Baybutt, was filmed at Thames Reach in Hammersmith, with Ashcroft on acoustic guitar and the band ending up on the roof. A separate US version was shot in New York and on a mountaintop. Bono later named “Lucky Man” as one of six songs from 1986 to 2006 that he wished he had written.
