The fact that it has gotten to this point, Nigeria is a Joke, politicians joking about sensitive topics like this. God for just bring me as eagle for Australia mehn.
@Agu_nwanyi6@iamharrycarter_@ZayynHassan Donโt be narrow minded my dear, people abroad should be able to celebrate their Nigerians heritage, without people like you coming for them.
Nursery and primary school pupils of Igbeyin Adun Primary School, Ajeabor, in the Mushin area of Lagos State, receiving school bags from the local government chairman inside the rain while they made them sing โMummy, daddy, vote for APCโ
WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH!!!!! In 2026!!! ๐ค
These politicians travel to other countries. They see how things work elsewhere. They see functioning systems, clean cities, proper infrastructure, reliable public services and governments that are expected to actually serve the people.
Are they blind when they come back home?!
How can we continue to accept this as normal? How can people be struggling with basic necessities while those in power continue to live comfortably and make excuses?
We need to DO BETTER. And more importantly, we need to DEMAND BETTER.
Stop treating politicians like kings and demanding nothing from them. They are public servants. They work for us. We deserve accountability, functioning institutions, basic amenities and leadership that actually cares about the people.
We cannot keep normalising failure and calling it governance.
2026. We should be demanding MORE, not making excuses for less.
but the fact that waste hasnโt been collected for two months doesnโt make illegal dumping acceptable. If residents have been abandoned without proper refuse collection, then the government and waste management authorities should be held accountable for that failure. But turning roads, drains and open spaces into dumps only creates a bigger problem for everyone living in Lagos. We need to demand better waste management, not normalise indiscriminate dumping.
