I cry during worship a lot and sometimes tell myself I need to "get it together". Then, I realize how powerful my cry and worship is & I never want to lose that sensitivity to the presence of God. His love, faithfulness & mercy towards me wrecks me over and over & I am ok with that. 😭

Comedian and actor Jay Pharoah is openly talking about how his life has changed through his growing relationship with God. In a recent interview, he said, “I think I am right where God wants me to be.”

Pharoah, best known for his years on Saturday Night Live, said success and money cannot satisfy the human heart. “You can have all the money in the world,” he said, “but what you need is God. You need love.” He added a sobering question: “What is the price of fame if you lose your soul in the process?”

He shared that his spiritual journey deepened in 2024 as he began reading Scripture more seriously. After deciding he wanted a physical Bible instead of relying on a Bible app filled with distractions, he was stunned when evangelist Dylan Novak unexpectedly handed him a blue Bible with his name on it. Even more remarkable, the Bible was bookmarked at the exact place where he had stopped reading.

“That’s when I knew,” Pharoah said. “The Lord is real. He is real.”

Pharoah also said his faith is changing the way he lives, including reducing profanity and seeking to align his career with God’s will. Novak later urged believers to pray for him as he continues to grow in Christ.
