Ich fühle mich müde und kraftlos, seit Monaten argumentieren wir warum es einen Waffenstillstand braucht und warum unsere Familien und die Menschen in Gaza es verdienen zu leben.
Doch statt Unterstützung aus der Politik zu erhalten, lehnt die Regierung einen Waffenstillstand ab. Statt Solidarität finden nicht einmal Gespräche mit Palästinensern in Deutschland, statt über die Folgen des Krieges für Betroffene in Deutschland zu sprechen wird palästinensisches Leid ignoriert.

Auch in den medialen Debatten spielen palästinensische Perspektiven leider kaum eine Rolle, einige Medien ändern dies langsam, doch noch immer kommen wir nur am Rande vor.

Es fühlt sich an wie ein Kampf gegen Windmühlen, doch wir müssen ihn weiterführen, denn die Erschöpfung ist nichts gegen das Leid der Menschen in Gaza.

Umso dankbarer bin ich für all jene, die sich uns in diesem Kampf gegen Windmühlen angeschlossen haben und gemeinsam mit uns für einen Waffenstillstand und Sicherheit für alle im Nahen Osten streiten. Eure lieben Worte, euer Einsatz lindern die Erschöpfung und spenden Hoffnung!
