A drunk 17-year-old girl was left alone outside a café. Two men, a 45-year-old former police officer and his 48-year-old friend offered her a ride home but drove her to a fast-food parking lot instead. They raped her for 80 minutes while she was terrified, frozen in fear, and felt completely powerless. She didn’t resist or clearly say no.
The court believed her story and admitted the acts happened, but found the men not guilty because she “didn’t say no” clearly enough. They walked free with no prison time.

@ThrillaRilla369 The people giving backlash must not have kids themselves. Like someone else said he took a calculated risk and it turned out in his favor. I would’ve done the same if my kid was stuck in a flooded building and they were taking too damn long to get the kids out.

A father is getting backlash for rescuing his 9-year-old daughter from her flooded school in Westernport, Maryland on Tuesday because rescuers were unable to get all the children to safety in a timely manner. So, while they were taking the kids out slowly, he went in and got his daughter before the building could collapse or be washed away. Some are saying he risked both of their lives as the flood could have turned deadly for both. Others say he's the father of the year.

I think he took a calculated risk that worked out in his favor. I would have went in and got my daughters and not 100 men would have stopped me. Well done dad.
