I would lay off the entire leadership team.
I would keep all the devs and start on D3 immediately.
It was an insane amount of greed and poor decisions by Bungie brass that led us here.

Halo 3 is arguably more iconic than Destiny, and it took 300 of them to make it.

800-1600 employees is just not sustainable.

@PaulTassi @Forbes I think the really big news is that Rockstar is only releasing the game on the current console generations.
Glad Rockstar had the courage to do what Bungie and D2 never did.
Those consoles are just too outdated and old it's going to force people to move up or move on.

For a game this big and beloved,
to just totally abandon it with no sort of maintenance patches is insane.

Once we're in the forever meta if something is found severely broken, it's just going to stay that way.

@RiccardoLopez9 @PaulTassi Exactly it boggles my mind how influencers enable these broke gamers. I would easily pay $120 for GTA 6 and I would easily pay $300 for Destiny 3 right now.
For what GTA 6 is about to deliver 120 is extremely Fair.

It's actually a great time for a new player to get into Destiny 2, for all expansions for $26 is insanity.
We paid $50 for each of those expansions.
