I understood the grace period at first. But it’s been almost a year now.

If the grief is still THIS raw that she can’t make it through a podcast or a speech without breaking down, maybe she's not the right person to lead the largest and most impactful youth political movement in modern history. And that would be understandable.But the timing on these clips is always so strange.

It then becomes harder to reconcile, when you recall how she was smiling, laughing, and dancing on stage with the President just days after we all watched her husband bleed out from his neck — yet the moment people ask basic questions, suddenly they’re the monsters attacking a grieving widow? And we're supposed to feel bad?

The emotional manipulation worked at first, but it’s really starting to feel deeply performative now.

@RealCandaceO, or anyone calling for a thorough investigation for that matter, shouldn’t make her cry more than the death of her own husband apparently did.

We all have eyes. Don't try to get us to deny what we see.
