While most related studies focus on how PTSD negatively affects romantic relationships, this article looks at what makes relationships resilient for patients undergoing PTSD treatment. The authors explored how trauma symptoms and perceived partner support influence relationship quality. Results reveal that partners’ supportiveness strongly affected relationship satisfaction, which sheds light on the importance of partner support in fostering strong relationships amid struggles with PTSD.
