@lilchildsx Definitely! If I hadn’t stood up and said I’m going to speak to my original consultant this is a waste of my time, I would have gone home having had made absolutely no progress with my treatment. He couldn’t even spell my ‘Crohn’s disease’ correctly🤣

@lilchildsx Thanks so much. One thing I can’t get my head around is how male docs simply can’t relate to these problems- this man today being the worst I’ve come across. Sometimes I think my sex and age really are a disadvantage to me in the medical environment 🤷🏻‍♀️

It took another doctor 3 minutes to explain to me that they will rescan me and remove a Fallopian tube after I had been back and forth with this other man for nearly 50 minutes!!🤬

She was diagnosed after a biopsy (the results of which he had in his notes) that conclusively showed she does have #endometriosis. What a waste of time! She has fears about her fertility and she has a male doctor tell her she is having periods when she isn't. Seriously?! 🤬

My friend just went a long awaited appointment about her #endometriosis. On arrival the male doctor said 'I assume you want surgery.' Then told her 'You have hair, you're 21, of course you have periods.' And that she doesn't have endometriosis. She hasn't had a period for a year!
