@Contemptress_ In my experience it really depends on brand and hair type. Like how porous and stuff? This last round I used clairol shimmer lights shampoo blonde and silver. And it worked amazing. Kept be from being brassy and coppery. But if I wanted I could leave it in for 10 min and be gray

@BMHarmer Sign Language also isn’t English. Just because you can sign does not mean you can read English. The faces are part of the language, the facial expressions signify some of the grammar, but mainly it’s the equivalent of English vocal inflection. No faces= monotone and missing info
