Texas Tech is the perfect example of why "NIL" sucks. Terrible at all sports with no history of any kind in anything pre-NIL, and now finally relevant only after the oil money bribes become legal. Because no top athlete would otherwise ever consider spending ~4 years in Lubbock
I can't think of a less desirable to city to live in America than Lubbock, Texas.
Ugly, boring and hundreds of miles from actual civilization. Oklahoma City is "close" and still 5+ hours away from that misery.
Hard pass!

Reunion: The #Giants are bringing back WR Odell Beckham Jr, as their former standout returns, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
Beckham, 33, recently worked out again for the team that drafted him, paid him, then traded him. Now, he’s back with NYG and John Harbaugh.
NEW: Indiana's Curt Cignetti says College Football is in danger if something doesn't change soon:
“The market is pretty expensive — it’s scary. It’s scary. I think players should get paid. But something’s going to have to be done in the next 12 to 24 months, or universities might not be able to handle this. College football won’t exist the way we’re going right now.”

Yurachek knows he is going to be on the hot seat when the Hogs get smoked in both of these games, so he is already getting his excuses in 4 months in advance.
I almost kinda respect it 🤝
“I think players need to talk on the pitch, playing football, not outside,” Pochettino said. “It is not his duty to evaluate the price of the ticket … We are not politicians. We are sport people that only we can talk about our job.”

@MenInBlazers Men in Blazers was decent before it became engagement slop. It says right there that he's "50/50" for a game next Wednesday, and you are writing a eulogy
