Ages 25–30 are really tough. You’re dealing with a shrinking friend group, aging parents, fixing the financial mistakes from ur early 20s,your career and your health. You’ve gotta find time to heal your mind. You just have to.
Me sending encouraging messages to my friends and loved ones, telling them that things will work out, while I’m on the 4th mental breakdown of the week.
“But you survived”
I disassociate, like a lot.
My heart drops when someone raises their voice.
I shut down very easily.
I'm far too observant.
I always feel like a burden.
I isolate often.
But yeah, sure, I guess I survived.
I really didn’t expect this to get so much engagement. But I have been in a dark place lately (I’m always in a dark place tbh but lately???) and on my hardest night I stumbled on this video and it did something for me and I hope it helps someone too. You’re not alone ❤️
as much as i advocate for mental health and spread love it’s crazy to realize i’ll always be fighting my own mind at the end of the day. even on the most beautiful days
