Paul Pierce says if Jalen Brunson wins a title, he’s better All-Time than Kyrie Irving:
“I’ve never seen a Kyrie lead team win a title. And as great as Kyrie has been in his career, there’s gonna be some tough conversations made if or when the Knicks win this title about Jalen Brunson and where he stands in NBA history as one of the better guards.”

This is why I laugh when people say Brunson is having a bad series. Of course he is. Every possession looks like a deleted scene from Mortal Kombat and the refs are treating it like legal defense.
@DeyonteDT Brunson has moments Kyrie did he a big shot on a non defender tho and Brunson is top 5 in playoff ppg and if you a better you remember his prop being at 36.5 consistently and him going over the last two years
@DeyonteDT In the playoffs 30 points is 30 points 25 points is 25 points especially if you’re the clutchest player in the series but I digress I just don’t agree Kyrie could win/lead with this Knicks team
@DeyonteDT Correct and he’s winning 2-0 😂 Kobe for example was a winner and scorer and didn’t have the best shooting percentages, No matter what he shooting at in that 4th he’s going to take his team there Bros a winner & leader percentage has nothing to do with it still the leading scorer
@DeyonteDT Yes Kyrie hit the shot on the MVP but not the DPOY that shit cool and all but you missing the point Kyrie went 1 but Brunson been winning championships his whole life. To say Kyrie who’s proven he’s not a leader can lead this team to the championship is a bad take
@DeyonteDT The MVP is not the defensive player of the year fam! Brunson won at every level from high school to 2 Nattys and now up 2-0 in the finals would’ve made it last year too in a game 7 if it wasn’t for injuries and the hali shot if anything he’s a winner & Leader Kyrie not a leader
Jalen Brunson just proved all the haters wrong.
They said he wasn’t a 1A player. They said he was too small. They said he couldn’t get it done.
Brunson has now led the New York Knicks to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.
One of the greatest free agent signings of all-time.
