PDUNASS and GNLU Launch Executive Development Programme on “Labour Laws and Social Security Compliance (EPFO at Core)”

Flagship initiative aims to build future-ready professionals for India’s evolving labour governance and social security ecosystem

The Programme has generated strong national interest among employers, HR professionals, labour law practitioners, compliance officers, academicians, and corporate leaders. Against the originally planned intake of 60 participants, the inaugural batch enrolled 66 participants, making it oversubscribed even before commencement. Continued demand has prompted consideration of a second batch

As India reimagines its labour and social security architecture, the challenge is no longer understanding compliance—it is mastering implementation.

The launch of the Executive Development Programme on “Labour Laws & Social Security Compliance (EPFO at Core)” by PDUNASS, EPFO and GNLU is a step towards building that implementation capability.

This is not merely another executive programme. It is an effort to create a new generation of professionals who can transform regulation into governance, compliance into credibility, and social security into meaningful protection for millions of workers.

The overwhelming response to the inaugural batch—oversubscribed even before commencement—reflects a larger shift. Professionals across industry, academia and government increasingly recognise that the future belongs not to those who simply know the rules, but to those who can apply them with competence, integrity and purpose.

At PDUNASS, we are privileged to collaborate with some of India’s finest institutions, including @GNLUOfficial, @IIMAhmedabad, @iimbangalore and @NID_India, each contributing in its own way to the creation of knowledge, leadership and public value. Urging students to rethink growth, he called for a shift from mere performance to sustainable excellence through energy management, continuous skill-building, mental resilience, and purpose-driven work.

His powerful message—“If you sustain yourself, you sustain your future”—struck a deep chord, inspiring students to build not just careers, but lasting capacity for growth.

At RGDE Season 2 on #CivilServicesDay, William Dalrymple (@DalrympleWill) highlighted India’s civilisational strength as a bridge of ideas, trade, and culture. He emphasised openness, exchange, and intellectual influence as key to future global leadership.

CPFC Ramesh Krishnamurthi underscored the importance of continuous learning in public institutions, noting that such platforms expand administrative thinking beyond routine operations.

PDUNASS conducted a Half-Day Workshop on the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 for Members of the Central Board of Trustees, Investment Committee & senior EPFO officers.

Addressing the session virtually, CPFC Shri Ramesh Krishnamurthi emphasised that timely, well-informed decisions in insolvency matters are critical to safeguarding the interests of millions of EPFO subscribers while ensuring compliance with the evolving legal framework. FA & CAO Ms. Roli Shukla Malge also joined virtually.

At the 24th #RGDE hosted by PDUNASS, Dr. @ShashiTharoor underscored the imperative of anchoring public sector reform in dignity, trust, and courage — transforming governance from a structure of authority into an ethos of care. His words resonated profoundly with PDUNASS’s evolving vision of people-centric public service.

Aligned with the spirit of #MissionKarmayogi, PDUNASS is driving transformative capacity building for @socialepfo officers through pioneering initiatives. These include “Compassion in Governance” in collaboration with @smgc_official, inspired by the philosophy of @k_satyarthi; “Design Thinking” with @NID_India to cultivate innovation-led problem-solving; and a Joint Diploma Programme with @gnluofficial to strengthen legal acumen and institutional capacity.
