I built a habit tracker and itโs completely free. ๐ฑ
Iโd love for you to try it and tell me:
๐ What feature do you wish it had?
Iโll pick the most requested features and build them into the next update.
Download it, try it, and tell me what you think. โค๏ธ #BuildInPublic

Indian founders building for global customers:
What payment gateway are you using?
Iโm struggling with Stripe availability and would love to know whatโs actually working for you.

Spent 7 days building a document-processing SaaS.
Things I learned:
โข Real-world data is always messier than expected.
โข Edge cases take longer than the core feature.
โข Building is easy. Distribution is hard.

Day 7:
No registrations yet.
But thatโs fine - every product starts with silence before it gets noticed.
Building โ Learning โ Improving.

Day 6: ๐จ๐ปโ๐ป
Fixed bugs in parsing logic today.
Now the app handles more bank statement formats without breaking.
Small wins, big progress ๐

@catalinmpit Competition isnโt a reason to stop - itโs proof the idea is worth building.
You donโt need to be the best, just useful.
Ship ugly, ship fast, get feedback & improve later.
The real failure is never launching.
@cliftonsellers You know how every bank sends statements as PDFs?
Great for reading, terrible for working.
My tool fixes that in 1 click โ clean Excel sheet.
No signup, no hassle, just upload and download.
โณ Saves you hours.
๐ Makes data usable.
๐ธ Free to start.

Day 5 Observation:
Users are interacting with the site in unexpected ways. Itโs fascinating to see which features get the most attention. ๐๐ป #BuildInPublic
Day 4 (on Day 5 ๐ )
Startup time isnโt linear anyway.
Yesterday was all about chasing down a bug - users getting unlimited free conversions.
Today Iโm tightening the free plan limits & adding more tests so silly misses donโt slip through again.

Day 3 - https://t.co/Wu5xFCtrrm
1. Parsing issue: PDF text came in one giant line, now split by date patterns, and (Dr)/(Cr) transactions parse correctly.
2. Usage limits: working fine, just added better error handling so users see why they canโt convert more.

Day 3 โ Bug life ๐
Supposed to be:
โข 1 free conversion/day (anonymous users)
โข 5 free conversation/day (registered users)
But thanks to a broken limit check, users can convert unlimited PDFs โ Excel without logging in ๐คฆโโ๏ธ. Fixing this today.

Day 2 update ๐
https://t.co/Wu5xFCsTBO is slowly getting traction.
In the last 24 hours:
โข474 pageviews
โข178 unique visitors
Itโs exciting to see more people finding value in such a simple tool. Early days, but progress is progress. #BuildInPublic
@FabioSilva7777 Love that! Definitely adding regression tests & logging next time, this comma bug was a tough teacher ๐ . Kolega Studioโs workflow sounds awesome, Iโll check it out!
Day 2: Funny story from today ๐
The core engine of https://t.co/Wu5xFCtrrm actually crashed because of a silly mistake in my code.
Spent a couple of hours finding it and fixing it, and nowโฆ itโs running smoothly again ๐ #BuildInPublic
