Doh Kyung-soo became famous as the main vocalist of the legendary, record-breaking, top-selling, history-making Band #EXO, which paved the way for many!
He is one of those rare group members who also became a massive Superstar in his own right! He is one of Asia's best vocalists, often named 'Vocal King', and he's also an amazing all-round entertainer, and has been key to EXO's success around the world!

D.O. began singing in primary school and was an avid participant in local singing competitions throughout his high school career. After winning one of the competitions, he was advised to audition for SM Entertainment and became a trainee during his last two years of high school. D.O. was officially introduced as the 8th member of EXO on January 30, 2012, with the release of the Korean version of the single "What Is Love", sung with Baekhyun. The group debuted on April 8 with the EP 'Mama'

D.O. enlisted as an active duty soldier on July 1, 2019. On the same day, he released his self-written solo single "That's Okay," as a gift for his fans. D.O.'s 1st Solo EP 'Empathy' was released on July 26, 2021 along with his self-written lead single "Rose"! The album went straight to #1 on the Gaon Album Chart selling 380,178 copies in Korea, 84,77O0 in China and 26,590 in Japan! D.O.'s 2nd EP 'Expectation' was released on September 18, 2023, spawning the hit singles "I Do" & "Somebody", and debuted at #3 on the Gaon Album chart, selling 214,264 units in Korea alone! In October, 2023, D.O. announced he would be opening his own agency, Company SooSoo, with his long-time manager Nam Kyung-soo for his personal activities and on May 7, 2024, Doh Kyung-soo released his third EP 'Blossom' and its lead single "Mars" via SooSoo! The 6-track EP spawned the hit singles "Popcorn" and "Mars" and debuted at #2 on the Circle Album chart, selling 147,161 copies in Korea alone! D.O. kicked off his 1st solo Asian tour 'Bloom' on June 8, 2024, in Seoul to promote the EP selling out venues! Doh Kyung-soo kicked off his 'DO it' concert tour on July 19, 2025 in Seoul which was a major success! Doh Kyung-soo's first studio album, 'Bliss' was released on July 7, 2025 and went to #1 on iTunes in over 20 countries! The lead single "Sing Along!" was co-written by Do & Zico, who also composed the song, and went to #1 in 10 countries on iTunes, reaching #100 on the Circle digital chart! On September 16, 2025, Do released his self-penned digital single "Dumb" featuring rapper Penomeco which also topped multiple charts on iTunes and hit #1 on the iTunes K-pop chart in the US.! Although Doh Kyung-soo did not renew his contract with Company SooSoo in December, the company still supported his 'DO it!' concert tour dates on December 6 and 7, 2025 in Seoul! On November 5, DO signed a new contract with Blitzway Entertainment for his acting endeavours and solo and group musical activities!

D.O. is also a very talented and critically acclaimed actor, and has starred in various television dramas and movies, including 'Pure Love' (2016), 'My Annoying Brother' (2016), 'Be Positive' (2016), 'Room No.7' (2017), '100 Days My Prince' (2018), 'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, Swing Kids' (2018), 'Bad Prosecutor' (2022), 'The Moon' (2023) and 'The Manipulated' (2025). D.O. was chosen by the Korean Film Council as one of the 200 Korean actors that best represent the present and future of Korea's movie scene!

D.O. has won numerous awards including a Seoul International Youth Film Festival Best Young Actor Award (2014), an APAN Star Award for Best New Actor (2014), a Max Movie Rising Star Award (2016), an Asian Artist Popularity Actor Award (2017), a Korean Film Shining Star Newcomer Award (2017), 3 Baeksang Awards for Most Popular Actor in 2016, 2017 & 2019, a JMFF Star Award (2017), a Seoul Popularity Actor Award (2018), a Director's Cut Award for Best New Actor (2018), 2 Soompi Awards for Actor of the Year & Best Couple (2019), a Hanteo Music Award for Male Solo Artist (2021), an Indonesian Hallyu Fans Choice Award for Solo Song of the year for "Rose" (2021), 3 KBS Drama Awards (2022), a Marie-Claire Asia Wide Star Award (2023), 2 Korea Grand Music Awards for Best Artist and Best R & B Male Artist in 2024 and one for Best OST in 2025 for "Forever" fro 'Resident Playbook', and a K-Pop Solo Artist of the year at the Tencent Music 2024 Year End awards!

DO. has had meaningful involvement in ambassador-style roles. In 2017, he served as a Korean public relations ambassador for the Macau International Film Festival alongside director Choi Dong-hoon. He has participated in various Korean government campaigns, such as the "I Am Proud" campaign during his military service (2019–2021). He was also selected in the South Korea's Ministry of Justice awareness campaign against "Digital Sexual Exploitation" and The Taegeukgi Campaign in 2020 for the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.

Do Kyungsoo is known and respected for his kind-hearted nature and positive influence, often inspiring meaningful charity work. While D.O. himself tends to keep his personal philanthropic efforts low-key (typical of his humble personality), his influence has led to consistent and substantial donations, particularly in support of children with serious illnesses. His dedicated fanbase "D.O.경수다움" (D.O. Kyungsoodaum) has been especially active, channeling birthday celebrations and his "positive energy" into regular donations. They focus heavily on the Korean Pediatric Cancer Foundation (한국소아암재단), supporting children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare/incurable diseases. For his birthday this year, they donated 12 million KRW (9,000 USD) to the foundation for treatment costs. The fan club has donated over 124 million KRW (~$90,000+ USD) to the same cause, including monthly regular contributions. These fan efforts reflect D.O.'s own values. He's often described as someone who quietly cares for those around him including staff & group members, and promotes warmth and positivity. EXO as a group has a strong reputation for benevolence, with each member donating collectively to various causes. D.O.'s "charity endeavors" shine brightest through the ripple effect he creates. His fans consistently turn admiration into real-world help for vulnerable children, making a tangible difference year after year.
