An Event is created by time, but has no market behavior at birth. The Opening Range provides the Event's initial observable structure, from which participant identity is determined, and all subsequent market phenomena within the Event emerge through cause n effect relationships.

A market is partitioned into nested Events; Session, Day, Week, Month, Quarter, and Year. Every price belongs simultaneously to each of these Events. Each Event develops its own participant through the resolution of its Opening Range.
