@GRomePow The choice to have a kid or not is absolutely none of my or anyone’s business.
But bragging about your capacity to spend money on snacks and appetizers because of it is, quite frankly, bizarre.
@texasrunnerDFW While it is, frankly, bizarre to brag about being able to buy snacks, having kids is a deeply personal choice in a world where everyone at every level of power is actively working to make it more difficult to do so.
I refuse to have kids for selfish reasons or without preparing.
@TylerFFCreator I’m treating Achane as a Hail Mary this week because why not.
Ton of risk, but I need a win and he’s got the most upside of the guys i’m comparing him to by a lot.
Sometimes this game comes down to gambling.
@GRomePow Deflation is necessary pain.
I could live with losing my job and struggling for a bit.
What I couldn’t live with is working in perpetuity for less and less value, eventually deteriorating to the point where I’ll need multiple jobs just to afford necessities.
That isn’t a life.
@GRomePow Only answer I can even consider plausible is people with cash.
But those people will also know they have sellers *by the balls* in this market, and the grip only gets former the longer it goes on.
I’d imagine lessons in supply and demand will be quickly and widely learned.
@T4YPodcast@elonmusk Love to see it.
Corporations trying to do good in the world don’t behave like fucking crime syndicates, shutting down everyone who refuses to kiss the ring and follow their rules.
