revolut didn't get hacked.
someone asked politely, and they said yes.
what happened: a request for customer information arrived from an unauthorised email account — sent through a real government agency's email domain. it carried valid domain authentication. revolut treated it as a genuine government request and fulfilled it.
what they handed over, per the notices sent to affected customers:
– full name, date of birth, occupation
– postal address, email, phone number
– a copy of your passport or driver's licence
– the selfie you submitted for identity verification
– account statements, iban, wallet reference number
– withdrawal records and full transaction history, including bitcoin
that isn't a leaked email list. that's a complete identity kit.
and this attack wasn't new. in november 2024 the fbi warned that criminals were using compromised government email accounts to send fake emergency requests for customer data. the same advisory described one sent to paypal. paypal rejected it.
now the part that makes it worse.
the attackers are reportedly demanding 10,000 btc. they've already started publishing data belonging to high-profile clients, and say they'll release more every single day until revolut pays. they're accusing the company of negligence and of sharing customer information outside its jurisdiction.
revolut says its systems and customer funds were unaffected, that a limited number of customers were involved, that it blocked the address and notified authorities. it hasn't said how many people were affected, or which agency's domain was used.
here's the uncomfortable truth.
you can use a strong password. protect your phone. never click a suspicious link. none of that decides what happens when someone emails your bank and asks for your file.
and once those records leave, you can't change your passport like a password.
The biggest hardware jump of the half fits in one line.
10x the performance at one tenth the cost per token.
That's the new generation of AI chips, and it changes the economics of everything built on top of them.

Learning AI properly shouldn't depend on whether you can afford it. A fully funded programme is opening in a few days. Learn from experts, build real projects, earn a recognised certificate, pay nothing. Who wants in?
Software marketing needed this.
Companies build great products, then struggle to show them properly.
Using the software itself to create the content feels like the right idea.
This is a really good launch.
You can take your actual SaaS, pick the screens and elements you want to show, and turn them into a polished product video.
This is how software should be turned into content.
Dyson just put AI inside a $499 toothbrush, and it’s ridiculous.
It uses a camera + AI trained on 470,000 dental images to find gaps between your teeth and floss them while you brush.
We officially have AI-powered toothbrushes now.
The AI market in H1 2026 looked strong in dollars and much harder on the ground.
Around 6,000 startups raised money this half, up more than 150% year over year.
But a handful of mega-rounds took most of the capital, and everyone else split what was left.
Both sides of that market are in the H1 2026 Industry Report:https://t.co/gQlP5SlS66
4. TRAVEL INFLUENCER LOOK
PROMPT:
Turn my uploaded photo into an authentic professional travel photograph taken in [destination]. Keep my face and identity consistent while naturally integrating me into the location. Match the lighting, shadows, perspective, weather, clothing, and environment realistically. Use a professional travel-photography composition with realistic depth, natural colours, detailed surroundings, and subtle background separation.
The AI tools you're using today won't look the same by December.
Companies stopped paying for chatbots that answer questions. They now pay for agents that finish the work, plan, act, and keep going without you.
The question is no longer which AI is smartest. It's which one you can trust to run alone.
This shift is mapped in the H1 2026 Industry Report: https://t.co/gQlP5SlS66
Polsia isn't building one product. It's building a portfolio.
Hearthsignal for local businesses losing money between calls and invoices.
Mothledger for the bills and renewals nobody has time to read. Gatherwink for people tired of swiping. All shipped by agents, not a team.
Zero employees. One founder. A full product line.
Watch how it runs:
Polsia's feed reads like a company launching five products at once.
An operations desk that answers calls and flags risks for small businesses.
Something that hunts the leaks buried in your bills and renewals. A service that finds compatible people through real local events.
Every single one says live soon.
