@Nyxint@dauntlesseskimo Yeah, V in Ryans DNA is an assumption, but since its a dad who didnt have any contact after conception, therere very few other ways for Ryan to have gotten his powers without direct genetic inheritance. At least Ryan was conceived w/ it. HL wasnt, so he doesnt have V-DNA for sure
@Nyxint@dauntlesseskimo Idk why they felt this needed unnecessary & false lore. Homelander's head is simply tougher than everybody else's, so it would take a lot more effort to blow him up & he'd be able to retaliate (he can see thru walls and laser her). Only Ryan has V in his DNA from conception...
@blunimo_@Enzofps_ I've been finding it hard to concisely explain the statistical necessity of a redraw on twitter, but I think I got it in 5 posts ๐

@lhfaria Statistically speaking, the redraw was necessary. It's hard to explain without writing an essay, but the bracket logic was broken once NRG was picked while the matchup for PRX and M8 was already determined. It corrupted the sample space, kinda like the monty hall problem
@huat_don@lhfaria This doesn't excuse the noticeable incompetence of Riot. But alas. Thankfully, the 0-1 teams got to save their prep time. Of all possible outcomes, there was a 33% chance of the 0-1 pool's redrawing staying the same and I'm glad it did. Still unbelievable it took them hours tho..
@huat_don@lhfaria .. also doesn't correct the probabilities. Manually pitting PRX against the 3rd pick of NRG for example, after the match ups were decided, now deterministically made the probability of PRX vs TL 0%. Competition integrity (and maybe legal) necessitates a redraw/probably reset
@lhfaria It removed certain probabilities from the table that would've otherwise been there. Basically, If they went with the bad draws & just "fixed" PRX to fight draw #3's NRG, then effectively, the flawed draw made PRX vs TL impossible (which should've had a 33% chance of happening)

@_tremayne@ValorINTEL This was a generational fumble. Would've given literally every player in the game a strong incentive to check out the VCT skins shop
@SosbeeMatt@SuzAtTheLibrary@AdamInHTownTX@kyledcheney If it conflicts with the constitution, it's an invalid law. Congress also has limits: they can't write laws that overwrite the rights given in the amendments without using new amendments. Courts moderate this as a check and balance as well.
@TDSDoctor@ChristinePThoma By your definition of qualified, every president running for re-election should automatically win since they'll be "more" experienced. But that's clearly not all there is to presidential qualifications. Both candidates have enough gov exp. I was listing hers in response to your Q
@TDSDoctor@ChristinePThoma Current Vice President.... And a former senator... And previously a state AG...? So she has spent years in literally all 3 branches of government. If that isn't experience, idk wtf is
