We are delighted to welcome Joe Dunne back to Colchester United as our new Lead Under-18s Coach.
Joe replaces Eddie Keen, who has joined West Ham United to assist within their Player Development Pathway phase.
A man who needs no introduction to U’s fans, Joe previously served the Club as a player, manager and coach, spending two years in charge between 2012 and 2014. Across two spells as a player, he made close to 200 appearances in blue and white.
After the last 15 months working within Gillingham’s academy, Joe returns to the JobServe Community Stadium to guide the next generation of U’s talent. He links up with an Under-18s group who recently reached the FA Youth Cup Fourth Round, narrowly edged out by Oxford United after four consecutive away ties.
Welcome back, Joe.
